NPO HUB Taipei is home for social innovation organizations, impact entrepreneurs, changemakers and sustainability drivers.
完工於民國57年，這棟座落於重慶南路與寧波西街三角窗的四層樓建築物，是台北第一女子高級中學教師及其眷屬的宿舍。相較於重慶南路一段的商業氛圍，二段與三段的環境較為幽靜。附近除了有許多公家機關外，還有228國家紀念館、台北市立建國中學、植物園與歷史博物館等知識場域，另外還有知名的親子空間。
過去50年來，這棟大樓裡曾住過孕育國家棟樑的老師們，也曾經短暫讓就讀北一女的海外僑生居住。然而由於老師們陸續退休搬離此處，再加上少子化後，原先一樓的托兒所也停止運作。
2016年，為呼應公民團體對於台北市內辦公空間的訴求，北市府開始尋覓市府的閒置資產，爾後在眾多資產中找到了這一棟位於市中心荒廢已久的宿舍。2017年在許多夥伴的號召與市府的內部協調之下，北一女中將此棟大樓正式撥交給了台北市政府社會局，作為未來非營利組織的辦公空間使用。
經歷2018年的整修，2019年的內部裝修與招商，台北NPO聚落現在已經有了17組團隊進駐，未來，這裡會是更多社會創新組織的聚集地！
作為全國首創的NPO聚落，能夠在開幕短短三個月的期間，獲得 2019 台北老屋新生大獎的肯定，真的是非常榮幸。
我們獲得的這個獎項是「經營特別獎」，在在證明公私部門的夥伴關係（PPP, Public Private Partnership）是可以推行的。同時也再次證明，老屋新生不單純是硬體的修整，而是人與人間的互動，才能再度賦予老屋新的生命力。
